Replacing Wood or Vinyl Siding for Stucco

Lately we've been receiving a lot of request for wood siding replacement or vinyl siding replacement. Simply put, home owners and project managers are looking to replace the current wood or vinyl siding that is currently on the exterior of their home/place/building in search of a more reliable and visually pleasing siding such as stucco installed. Some of the reasons these replacements have been sought include:

1.) Saving Cost

Saving in cost over the long haul because the current wood siding continues to Rot over time  which ensues a cost for the owner every year for wood. 3 pieces here, 4 pieces there and before you know it you've replaced your entire exterior siding over time, and will continue to incur those cost.

2.) Leaks through windows and doors.

An example of this is found where a few customers were simply replacing a door and while doing so happend to be presented with new wood rot behind the water protective barrier or tyvek wrap.

3.) Visual displeasure.

Some of the homes have wood in areas that just don't belong. Many a time builders wood put wood on a cement block home at peaks or random places to cover certain things up, or maybe didn't have the ability to properly install the right stucco system in those areas which required a water protective barrier, wire lath and stucco. Or maybe it was the visual style. However the style is dated. People have been looking for a more seamless look, and a more cost effective option.

4.  " Flip Flop" wood to vinyl or vinyl to wood

There have been many instances that didn't quite work out, where wood siding has been replaced for vinyl siding and vice versa. If your looking for a siding that will stick over the long run and won't cost you to maintain as much over time, consider stucco siding. Stucco has been proven for centuries, it's low maintenance, and dependable.
